First one went few months ago. It's going to be interesting to see how Portal2 runs on it. I wanted one since the where like 380 so seeing then on line for 260 was a surprise but one for 170 used was like a god send. The fact that heatpipes are needed does not bode well for the type of thermals this video card produces. The water textures in the game went from ho-hum to awesome. So I went with a less expensive video card.

I thought superclocked editions were highly overclocked. And the best part--the card doesn't slow down during heaving action sequences. I had read someplace that you could run into power problems but have not experienced any myself. Check out the Union For Gamers! The first thing to grab your attention will be the fact that the heatsink protrudes through the shroud. You will also notice several heatpipes coming from the center of the heatsink to the outer fins to dissapate heat. One of the older games that would perform poorly on my older video card was Far Cry. And yes the 470 was hotter, but it still has more cuda cores, so doesnt need as much speed to get the same performance. The other card would go in my older system.
I was just wondering which I should use for web site better performance? It's a bread winner people this is one to hold a watch to. Takes up 2 slots in the back and she must a fusion reactor in there cause she burns hot like the sun! The video card measures 10.
